Lyndsey Baker - Creative Director, Administration
Raised in a young and growing church, Lyndsey learned the value of flexibility and serving where the need is. Throughout her life she has served in numerous capacities some including, children’s ministry, special needs, hospitality, information center, Bible study and small group leader. Having been involved in many different parts of the church, Lyndsey knows just how pivotal the seemingly insignificant act can be and its potential to have great impact and ripple through the entire body of Christ. Today, Lyndsey is using her experience in design, organizational and operational management to help WL build their many parts as one seamless ministry. Lyndsey is a stay at home mom. She and her husband of 13 years live in Nebraska with their four children.
Sarah Conaway - Speaker, blogger
Sarah is from Hampton Roads Virginia and moved to Omaha with her family in January 2013. In early 2016 she had 2 strokes that left her unable to talk and walk. Through intense therapy, Sarah has regained much of the ability she lost. Although Sarah has had a myriad of health problems over the past 15 years, the strokes change her life forever.
Sarah's story is a true testament of Jesus's divine intervention. If it weren't for her daughter Alexis needing to go to the emergency room the night of Sarah's stroke, Sarah may not be here today to share her story.
Sarah volunteers with hospice patients, the children's ministry at her Church and is a member of the Bellevue Papillion Rotary Club and Daughters of the American Revolution. She's excited to be a part of the Wholly Loved team and be able to share how God is continuing to shape her into the person she is today.
Kathy Davis - Editor
Kathy Davis grew up in a family that served in nearly every capacity imaginable at church, from standing on a chair behind the pulpit singing harmonies with her family to cleaning the building on Saturdays. The one thing she didn't attempt, however, was helping her dad paint the steeple. We all have our limits.
A student of writing since childhood, Kathy updates her journal weekly, creating thoughtful, inspirational prose. Kathy and Jerry, her husband of 39 years, started new ventures when they graduated from raising their four children and from foster parenting. Though one of her favorite things continues to be getting on the floor to play with children at their level, Kathy also blogs and writes for publication, and provides admin support for Jerry in his knife-making business.
Kathy is a contributing author of James Stuart Bell’s book, Jesus Talked to Me Today: True Stories of Children’s Encounters with Angels, Miracles, and God, published by Bethany House. She is also a devotional writer for Warner Press's Pathways to God. Read her regular posts on writing and family with a touch of scripture at kathysheldondavis.com.
Adriana David- Blog Admin
Adriana David is a journalism major at UNO pursuing a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. She is highly interested in Christian missions.
She volunteered with a Children's ministry at her church for mentally impaired kids and their siblings, sort of like a monthly respite, and one of my fave verses is Isaiah 40:31. She's looking forward to using her career in journalism for the Lord.
